The problem

Weighbridge teams needed a more direct way to capture operational data at Chunga Landfill.

Working constraints

  • OCR-assisted capture still needs a clear path for people to review the information.

The approach

  1. Developed the purpose-built mobile application.
  2. Integrated Gemini OCR into the data-capture workflow.
  3. Designed the flow around the work performed at the weighbridge.

Outcome

The field workflow now includes OCR-assisted data collection in a dedicated application.
